Looking for any connections to Winifrid Gibbons, she married Patrick Brown in Liverpool circa 1856. Terry

Have you tried the Liverpool RC Marriages Index. www.liverpoolhistoryprojects.co.uk/liverpoolrcmarriagesA copy of the original parish record costs 4pd (or 4 for 10pd) and will be sent out by email within 24 hours. The following entry is in the index... 1855/200, ST MARY HIGHFIELD ST, WINIFRED GIBBONS, PATRICK BROWN Sometimes the parish records have more information such as mother's name, name of previous spouse if widowed and full addresses for the witnesses as well as the bride and groom. You can also check out marriages at the same church around the same times as this may identify siblings. Apparently you will be able to search by father's names soon which will make it much more useful. They also have a corresponding baptisms index but it only covers 1886-1900 at present. This shows both parents' full names including maiden name...excellent! I have GIBBONS in my family... Thomas & Mary GIBBONS (possibly married Holy Cross 1858; I'm waiting on a birth certificate to confirm Mary's maiden name) - John GIBBONS (b.1859) m Ann CONNOR in 1892 -- Mary GIBBONS (b.1893) m Edward f*gAN in 1913
