Continuing on about the ATHERTONS, part 2 all born in Liverpool. Thomas Ernest ATHERTON wed Teresa WILLIAMS 1910 (Killed May 1941 in Mill Rd Hospital bombing, Ambulance driver) Children as folows: Henry Ernest ATHERTON 1911 _ 1993 Margaret ATHERTON. Lillian THOMPSON (ATHERTON) died 1945 age 23. Minnie ATHERTON. Joan ATHERTON. Edna ATHERTON. Doreen ATHERTON. Eric ATHERTON Thomas ATHERTON _Newcastle _ Australia No knowledge of dates of majority of Children or even Married names of Husbands or Wives Bit long winded but may help someone make a connection along the way. Hi lisanew, I too have an uncle Tommy that went to Aus, they have a son and daughter. Any connection, they are in Newcastle, outside Sydney. Cheers Terrya

tommy atherton was my uncle he was married to my mums sister evelyn they had 1 daughter ann and three son`s christopher tony, can`t remember the other ones name they had a fruit and veg shop in the holy land area they lived in dingle lane i use to stay there the weekends as a lad ann had the hairdresser`s shop next to woolworths park road (knob hill) UNCLE TOMMY WORKED FOR SILCOCK AND COLLINS AT THE FORD PLANT HALEWOOD FERRYING THE NEW CARS TO GARSTON FOR SHIPMENT
