I'm looking for information on Anne CARR, who married Martin CAHILL. They lived at 52 Easby Road in Liverpool. Here is what I have on the family:
Martin CAHILL married Anne CARR.
Their children include the following: Matthew James CAHILL, Delia, Ann, and Michael (who was deaf and dumb).
Matthew James CAHILL was born on Sept 4, 1900 and died Sept 13, 1955. He married Florence Andrea HANSEN of 54 Easby Road and had the following children: Elizabeth ("Bessie"), Matthew, Charles, and Raymond. The CAHILLs moved to the United States in the early 1920s.

I am seeking information relating to Thomas Carr who was my uncle and was convicted of a relatively serious crime at Liverpool sometime between 1930 and 1940. I think (according to the family),that he might have taken money, perhaps from Liverpool Corporation. They said that he went to jail because of it. Has anyone any information about this? His father, also Thomas Carr, was a wheelwright,as were his parents and siblings. All of Irish origin.

I found out a bit more about my CARR ancestors (see my previous post above).
From the 1901 English census: The family lived at 32 Browning Street in Bootle cum Linacre.
The household consisted of: 1. James Carr, age 57, occupation coal heaver, born in Ireland 2. Frances Carr, his wife, age 60, born in Ireland 3. Martin Cahill, son in law, age 26, occupation coal heaver, born in Ireland (another source says Castlecreevy, Galway, Ireland) 4. Annie Cahill, daughter, age 22, born in Bootle (her birth name is Ann Jane Carr) 5. Michael Cahill, boarder, age 31, occupation coal heaver, born in Ireland (this is Martin's brother) 6. Matthew J. Cahill, grandson, age 6 months, born in Bootle (this is my great grandfather Matthew James Cahill) 7. John Connor, boarder, age 30, occupation coal heaver, born in Ireland

According to the 1891 census, the same family (as my above posts) lived at 32 Browning Street in Bootle. The household consisted of:
1. James Carr, age 47, occupation dock labourer, born in Ireland 2. Fanny Carr, wife, age 52, born in Ireland 3. Mary E. Carr, daughter, age 16, occupation scholar, born in New York 4. Annie J. Carr, daughter, age 12, occupation scholar, born in Bootle 5. Thomas Wynne, boarder, age 28, occupation dock labourer, born in Ireland 6. John Mooney, boarder, age 32, occupation dock labourer, born in Ireland
So it would seem that the family moved from Ireland, to New York, and then to Bootle. Annie J. Carr married Martin CAHILL of Castlecreevy, Galway, Ireland in Bootle in 1899. (see the above post, and also check under the surname CAHILL).
