Hannah PENDLEBURY married John Mitchell in St.Peters Liverpool 22 Aug. 1822. She is listed as a 'Widow' on parish register. Does anyone have a missing Hannah in their Pendlebury line please
1851 census has an Hannah Mitchell widow aged 55 with son Thomas 11 (b.Dec.1/4 1839 christened Feb.1840) which may well be her. Class: HO107; Piece: 2181; Folio: 716; Page: 4 John Mitchell was a Mariner.
This Thomas is the only child of this marriage I've so far been able to trace. (see Mitchell -Harry + Price- Arthur). There were 6 siblings born. He married Ellen Jones/McCabe..children william & Hannah
Having searched in the IGI & mailing lists, I haven't yet found out who Hannah was. Perhaps she was wrongly tagged 'widow'? A likely Pendlebury Family came up on IGI featuring names which she used for her children.
I don't want to claim folks who are not mine but would love to give name to her parents.
