Hi. I am researching the Laurence family who lived in Liverpool from 1860 onwards. William Michael Laurence and subsequently his son Thomas Davy Laurence owned a Hotel in Clayton Square called Laurences Commercial And Family. I know that this is mentioned in the Kelly's Directories of the time and I also have a map of its place in the Square kindly provided to me by a Liverpool historian. The Hotel used to be called Browns. I also know that in the early 1900s a cycling club held its AGMs at the place. Please could anyone provide me with a picture of the property, external or internal or further information on its use?
