I'm researching the Duvall family (at least my dads, dads ......side).
I've got:- my dad - John Edwin (b1916), his dad - John Edwin (b1891), his dad - Peter (b1867/8), his dad John (b1827), his dad - John Greer (b1801).
This is where it gets harder. I think his dad was John Duvall (b1780), who married Priscilla Grier. I got this from mormon website, so I'll have to check the parish records.
Anyone related or can be of help, please get in touch.

For anyone interested, the John Duvall (b1780) was actually John Davall (b about 1776). He was an american citizen, born Sag Harbor, Long Island, NY. He was a sea captain (1800-1 ship "Diana", which traded between Liverpool and Savannah). He was killed celebrating american independence day in Savannah, in 1801 - a cannon blew up and killed him. His dad was called William Davall jnr, a tavern owner from Sag Harbor. His grandad was also a William Davall snr (1719-1797), who had a farm on North Haven, Long Island.
