I have my branch of Dwyer's going back to 1871 when they arrived in Liverpool. I am seeking Dwyer's with the name Martin, possibly a grandfather or great grandfather, in their family tree; Martin's dad was Philip Dwyer, a merchant seaman, who passed away in 1895 after contacting malarial fever in West Africa, the family lived in one of Sylvester Street courts.

I have DWYER antecedents, but from slightly earlier. From Ireland, of course. Have you learned from which parts the DWYER folk originated? Have you ever found any records in lists of migrant arrivals in Liverpool?
I haven't found any Martin names, however and my research has only a few individuals, my gt. grandmother, for instance, b.1843/1846, named Eliza DWYER.
