Hi, I don't have info on PJ Murray however want to ask if there was any daughters. A Julia Ann Murray married a Robert Smithson (also of Liverpool) in Maitland NSW 1855.
Any connection?
Maureen

Hi Maureen,
Yes, we now know about daughters, Ann born 1819, Rose born 1823, Margaret born 1828 and possibly a Jane, birth year uncertain.
If your Julia Ann was married at age 20 in 1855, she would have been born in 1835 and I think our Bridget was at the end of her child-bearing years when she had William in 1832.
I do have extensive history of Jon's descendents in Australia, will look through for any Smithson connection and get back to the board as soon as I can. Bye for now then,
Sue
