CORRECTIONS/ADDITIONS TO EARLIER POSTING. I have since found additional info. re NELLINS family of Granshaw, Clones Co Monaghan and Liverpool, marriages, children, dates BUT few locations. I have descendant names of BANKS, BOOBELMAN, BULLER, DAVIS, JAGENSEN, LAMB, MARKS, McDANIEL, McLEOD, McMURRAY, MURPHY, ODUM, PARSONS, POTTS, SMITH, STROTHERS (US), SWITZER, THARP, TYLER, WESTRUP
Still looking for parents of William NELLINS' b 1757 Dublin Ire.
William NELLINS (d Ireland ca 1846 or d Liverpool 28 Feb 1864) and Jane JOHNSTONE (d Liverpool 7 Feb 1864); Jane and William are supposedly buried in same grave in Amfield Cemetary
Daughter Mary Ann NELLINS m. George DEALEY 10 February 1851 St Jude's Church, Liverpool. Mary Ann was b 26 Aug 1829 at Granshaw, Clones, County Monaghan Ireland dau of Mary Ann stated that after her father d ca 1846, the family was on hard times and Mary Ann came to visit relatives in Liverpool in 1847 which implies her father d Ireland. She met Mrs. SALE whose husband was sick. Mary Ann went to work for Mrs. Sale, possibly as apprentice shoemaker. After Mr. Sale died, Mrs. Sale advertised for a foreman and the ad was answered by George DEALEY whom she later married. Mary Ann emigrated with her husband and 9 children to Texas in 1870 and died in Dallas in 1913.
Possibly it was one of her 11 siblings that she was visiting in Liverpool. They were
