Seeking any RILEY's from Bootle that have a connection to my FARRELL >GARVEY line
Newly widowed Hannah GARVEY (nee FARRELL) from Dubin came to Liverpool early 1900's with her son Thomas GARVEY. Hannah had a sister (name unknown) who married a widower, surname RILEY, he already had children from first marriage, then the couple had children together, one of them was Albert, known as "Bert" RILEY who was my grandfather Thomas GARVEY's cousin.
According to family legend my grandfather rescued his cousin Bert RILEY out of rubble the night the Marrakand ship went up in the docks during the blitz WW2. Thomas GARVEY was at that time a foreman on Gladstone docks
I have an unidentified photo of a female member of the RILEY family, another cousin to my grandfather
