Hi, I am looking for any info on a Frances Rimmer, known as Fanny, born 21 Feb 1884. She married John Thomas Lewis Sept 1905 at St Simon and St Jude in Anfield. They had the following children, Jack Lewis, not got anything on him yet, but was said to of died in his 30's. Ethel Frances Lewis, born 1906 and married Reg Hewer. James Lewis born about 1911. Hilda Naomi Lewis (my Gran) born 1912 and married Willie Owens from Angelsey. Muriel Lewis born 1920 and married a Canadian called Douglas Ivany. If anyone has any of these names in their family tree, please get in touch. One more thing, Fanny died in 1956 and John Thomas married her sister Mary. Just got some more info. In 1909 and 1911, John Thomas was listed in the Trade Directory, we know they ran chip shops there, possibly two. On the marriage certificate Frances's father was deceased in 1905 and was an overseer in a cotton warehouse and was named William Rimmer, also we think his wife was Mary Jane Bottomley. Frances at the time of her marriage gave her address as being 239 Westminster Road, Kirkdale. Thanx for reading, Lynn

Don't know if you have this, but I found it on the freebmd site
Marriage
September qtr. of 1905 Ref: West Derby Vol 8b page 478
RIMMER Frances & LEWIS John Thomas
If you request the certificate from the Records Office you would then have both their fathers' names and occupations
Best wishes Dorothy
