This is an unusual surname , so it is sure to jog the memory of anyone who see sit, MARY TOUGHER married William Hogan in 1881 any info on Mary would be welcomed, originated from either Castlebar or Naas Co Kildare, married at Curragh Camp Kildare then straight onto India the next day for 10yrs, back to Liverpool by 1891 census, children John, Mabel Maud, Florence and Agnes.

Hello Minnie My gg grandfather was Michael Tougher, born abt 1830 he married 1st Bridget O Brian in1852 and Ellen Lydon in 1867 both in Birkenhead I think he had a sister Margaret who married Patrick Reddington again in Birkenhead and she went to live in Bacup in Lancashire It's the 1st time I've done this so I hope it makes sense
