Do you have a Joe WOOLLEY in your line from Bootle?
In a book I have called "Bootle Vol 2" there are a lot of old pictorial postcards of various people, places and groups of people. One photo is of Wolf Cubs, Orrell Council school c 1912, included in the caption is the following "......standing third from left back row is Joe WOOLLEY"...actually this book is by a Peter W WOOLLEY
Common surname I know, if it isn't yours I'll just leave it here in case someone else connects

Hi Kathy,I have a son in law Chris Woolley his Dad was in the Royal Navy WW2 H.M.S. Vimy think his Dad was in NZ at the end of the War and they were offered NZ Citizenship.His Dads name was Phillip and they lived in Wallasey.Best Regards Ken B
