Hi I am researching the COUSINS family, my family started to settled in Bootle - Liverpool from about 1825 onwards they came from Wexford Ireland, I would be interested in communicating to any one who is researching the COUSINS family. Have a look at my website www.cousinsfamily.co.uk

Peter, My Tree includes John Barry, b.1819 (abt) who married Ann COUSENS, b.1816 (abt) (Ireland?). They married 13th August 1839 at St. Mary's R.C. Chapel, Edmund St., Liverpool. (church is indexed as 'Highfield St.' as this is its' last siting, after several moves) She would have been 23 y.o. Her father is recorded as John COUSENS and one witness was recorded as Lawrence COUSENS. (Both names spelled: Cousens, though Ann's name was written as: Cosens) The church records are at Central Library, Liverpool.
I've studied your b.m.d. postings but have not identified any certain connections. Perhaps you might review the records. Ann I believe was born in Ireland; and the Cousens name has Irish roots. I'd be very interested in any findings.
