hi im looking for any information/descendants of william(1843) and margaret evans ( both formerly of north wales). their children were, david (1867), elias (1870), william(1874), thomas (c 1881) and john (c1885). until recently we knew nothing of the existance of the last 3 boys(found them on the 1891 census) and have not yet been able to find anything about any of them apart from david who was my great grandad. there must be some info out there or descendants somewhere. they were born and lived at least part of their lives in birkenhead. only known addresses were 102 argylle st south tranmere(1891)and 83 oliver street birkenhead (1881). david was living at 49 woodchurch road, with his wife and family in the 1901 census. thanks sara

I am presently researching my family, also Evans. My GGrandfather probably came from Wrexham. Not sure whether that is Nth or Sth..........live in New Zealand. My Grandfather was Albert Martin b Toxteth Park, Liverpool. He married Annie Keatinge, also from Liverpool. Albert's father was Edward Evans - m - Ellen Carpenter. Both of Wrexham. I am also looking at a Samuel and Margaret also from Wrexham. Any possibilities here that we could be related?? Barbara. Christchurch, New Zealand

I have a Samuel Evans (commercial traveller) , father of Jane and Mary Helena, no dates I'm afraid but Jane married Horatio Herbert (ship broker, once lived on Myrtle Street) in Liverpool and they had a son Samuel born in 1861. Don't know what happened to Jane and Horatio but Samuel was taken to NZ in 1868 by Jane's sister, Mary Helena and her husband John Phillips. Any connections?? Edwina
