Dear Irene, I do have a Joseph Bispham in my tree but I do not think he is the same as yours. My Joseph married Martha Spencer 1771 at St. Nichs Liverpool. His son John Bispham (also from Liverpool) was born around 1800 and he married Sarah 03 June 1822 at St Pete's Liverpool. John was the father of Martha Bispham who is my GGrandmother, she married Edward Parry in Liverpool in 1850 which is why I am Bryan Parry also born in Liverpool. I do have a line of Bisphams back to John Bispham and Margaret Reynolds in 1750, but no mention of Westmorland. A lot of the Bisphams came from the Lancaster Rainford and Wigan areas of Lancashire, and on a recent visit over ome I passed through the village of Bispham on the way to Southport. Best wishes ...... Bryan
